Barbers, hairdressers and beauty salons mostly manage appointments with a paper book. On busy days double-bookings, forgotten appointments and mixed-up times are common; one scribble in the book can throw off the whole day.
A no-show means an hour that looks booked but passes empty. Manual reminder calls get forgotten; the time the stylist waits idle cannot be recovered.
When staff commission is calculated by hand it takes time and invites dispute. When it isn't clear who generated how much revenue, the end-of-month commission calculation can turn into a trust problem between staff and owner. And because a client's past treatments aren't remembered, personalized service becomes hard.
The Solution
We built an online booking system where clients pick an available slot on the web or by phone. With the appointment book moved to digital, double-bookings and mixed-up times disappear.
We added automatic appointment reminders over SMS / WhatsApp; this aims to reduce the no-show rate and removes the time spent on reminder calls.
We created a client card for each customer holding treatment history, notes, products used and preferences. Per-staff revenue and automatic commission calculation make the end-of-month math transparent; sessions are deducted automatically from sold packages.
